Safer releases, tested backups, steadier pages

Live from 06/10/2026. A release that fails now rolls back and clears the maintenance page on its own, and the status page no longer gets stuck on "under maintenance". Pages recover by reloading once if the site was updated while open. A quarterly check restores our off-site backups into a safe test area to prove they work, and the first was successful. Many small bugs were fixed, including pages stuck polling after a permission error, missing icons, and invalid dates giving a server error.
