Messages stay connected and sign-in is less likely to drop

Live from 07/10/2026. The messages page now keeps its connection alive and checks it again when you return to the page or your device reconnects to the internet. Previously the page could quietly stop updating, which looked like being signed out. You should stay connected for longer and see new messages without refreshing.
